My Block My Hood My City (MBMHMC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth from underserved neighborhoods in Chicago by exposing them to new experiences, skills, and opportunities, including those in the hospitality industry. The organization advocates for social equity, providing resources to promote community well-being and inequality reduction, resulting in an increased sense of pride, belonging, and responsibility among youth, while promoting positive change and strengthening local communities. Through programs focused on education, mentorship, and community service, MBMHMC helps young people expand their horizons, build leadership abilities, and become active participants in shaping their communities.
