The BioSur Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and sustainable management of natural ecosystems in Latin America. Through its focus on biodiversity conservation, reforestation, and environmental education, BioSur Foundation works to preserve critical habitats and mitigate the effects of climate change. BioSur collaborates with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable land use practices and foster environmental stewardship. In recent years, BioSur has sought to reduce the overexploitation, pollution, and loss of species through protecting more land to expand biological corridors between the Corcovado buffer zone and Golfo Dulce. BioSur’s impact extends beyond environmental conservation, as it helps improve local livelihoods, supports sustainable development, and raises awareness about the importance of preserving the region’s natural heritage for future generations.
